October 1st is fast approaching... your rushing to submit a reading... FEAR NOT!

Understandably, we're all anxious for a latest price cap to come into play from October 1st (me included!) but I just want to help put your mind at ease when it comes to your reading and to help you understand how to simply and easily make the day go as smooth as possible for you 😎.

🌟 Firstly, our E.ON Next App has a in-built meter reading page - here you can upload things through the app and they will go onto your account no problem.

🌟 Smart meters will be programmed to automatically take a reading for you.

🌟 For those not with smart meters, or perhaps you want to send the team one to make sure we have it - we will accept the reading up to 5 days after - so if you snap a photo of your reading on the 1st and send it to us when we are avaliable we will pick it up and log it for you!

🏠 IHDs

- This should be updated automatically as your tariff updates, please give it 2/3 working weeks to do so. If it still has not updated please let one of our lovely Energy Specialists know and they will fix things for you! If you are not sure on how to do this, read over this page 👉 contact us

I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

I never look at the cost/budget side of the IHD but if I have to have it I expect it to be right.

@Han_EONNext Please can you tell my why my online account is showing that unit costs for electricity will be 51.32 p/lWh and standing charge 43.26 p/kWh (inc vat) when I'm on the standard variable rate?

Because their systems are updating and not yet finished. be patient. You joined the forum only today and you're unhappy. But there is virtually nobody here from Eon Next so you're shouting into a vacuum. Breathe and wait.

Current Eon Next and EDF customer, ex Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

But you're late to all this - there has been evidence that Eon were behind in the task for weeks - we just hoped that they would get it right on the day. They're not there yet but NOBODY from eon is even listening here!

I might be late to this forum, but certainly not to the constant errors from EONext. In total I spend hours waiting on the phone for somebody to answer, emails are not replied to, direct debits are up and down like a yo-yo, it's impossible to persuade them to send monthly bills, etc. etc. As you can see, Victor, I'm not happy.
