When we moved house EON.Next were the incumbent so here we are.
Anyway here were are on Flex Next, economy 7, which seems to be the default - with a smart meter.
We have no night storage heaters, no immersion tank and with use of dishwasher, washing machine etc we are about 20% night use units. I had previously thought that economy 7 is only worth it at about 40% use - which would be impossible for us to achieve.
Looking at the new rates from Oct 1st there is an even bigger difference in day and night rates.
What is the break even in use to make economy 7 worth it?
