New SMART Meter (18th July 2022) Not Sent Electric or Gas Readings

E.on Next installed a smart meter in July but readings are not showing in my online account (the meters are listed in my account).

Readings and usage are being sent to the SmartView2 IHD fine, so all working locally.

The WAN and HAN lights flash green every five seconds or so.

I have checked https://smartmetercheck.citizensadvice.org.uk/ and both Electric & Gas are showing as operating in Smart Mode.

I e-mailed E.on Next are a few weeks ago on this, but have had no reply as yet.

I have had to use a different e-mail address to sign up to this forum than my E.on Next account e-mail.

As you have posted photos @theunknowntech may be able to help.

I'm an Eon Next dual fuel customer with no particular expertise but have some time on my hands that I am using to try and help out a bit.

I can already guess pretty reliably that it's probably just read schedule issues... Again...

Could you ask customer service to set up the read schedules for both meters and pull an instant reading? Don't email, it's a really slow method!

Thanks @theunknowntech I think this is resolved now. I called customer services on Monday. They took some action and said the readings should show in my account within next 24rs. Still wasn't showing this morning so I called back. They had a look and asked me to refresh my account page - smart readings then showed for Tuesday. They said it was because readings were set show monthly on 18th (which lines up as the original date of install in July was on 18th)

Question - my account profile 'smart meter data preferences' section currently says readings from the smart meter are stored daily. I assume this means readings would still be taken daily, even if my account only displays a reading monthly? I'd like the most accurate reads ahead of/on the 1st Oct is all.

Hehehe, no worries.

If you want the most accurate data, flip the settings to half-hourly mode. :)

It's still Daily readings, but with more data!
