I am trying to get a new connection to EON Next for my new home's electricity. When I register the bill, the customer service require a MSN of course. However, I can only find a barcode number with 8 digits on the meter, not starting with any letter. The customer service thus said it was wrong, I really can't find any other serial number on the meter. What should I do in this case?

Level 7816-09-22ERROR: MSN_Not_Found! I'm sorry, but my algorithms could not detect a valid Meter Serial Number syntax from the provided image.
Possible reasons for this may include:
- You didn't provide a clear image of the entire meter
- The meter is not one that was installed by any UK based Energy Supplier
- The meter is a Landlord Sub-Meter
- The meter is an Export Meter
- The meter is not from a recognised manufacturer
- The meter does not have a Meter Serial Number
Please check your image and try again. If you keep seeing this issue, please double check that you're definitely uploading images of the correct meter!

TechBot is powerful, but it's unfortunately not psychic and it doesn't have X-Ray Vision either! I've just looked through the thread myself and the meter you posted doesn't look like it's the right one. Are there any other meters on the property by any chance? -
Level 7816-09-22Ahh, hold on a second... I see why TechBot couldn't identify that meter! It's actually a Generation Meter as per the spec sheet from the manufacturer https://www.rayleigh.com/rihxe12r-mi...nd-export.html .
This isn't the meter you're looking for, which explains why it doesn't have the right kind of MSN on it. You might want to keep looking around the property for other meters. If you find any, please post photos of them and TechBot will try to analyse them for you. -
