Dear EON,

About 1 year ago we agreed to having smart meters installed, but the IHD never worked from the start, & we were told by the installer that YOU would fix this remotely, which never happened, & also our gas meter is not sending you readings!

The lady that come to repair in April in this year had it all working, but the department did something that ruined everything! The lady was on the verge of tears, & swearing over the phone, & we were told to wait 2 months for another appointment! We are now four months on, with still no contact!

I am a carer for my elderly mother, & we NEED to see what energy we are using!

We are about to look into registering on the "priority service register", but in the meantime, could you PLEASE resolve this meter & IHD issue with some urgency!

@SheevaMTimbres I'm really sorry to hear about your experience and I agree, it's really important we know what we are using, especially in the current climate.

I've got a couple of questions to find out what the problem is:

• In what way is the IHD not working please and have you tried to reset it.
• Are we getting regular readings from your meters automatically?
• Above your electric meter there will be a little white box, what are the lights doing on that box please?

Also, you can add yourself to the priority services register or update your circumstances any time through your online account.

We had smart meters fitted over a year ago, but the lady could not get the IHD to pair up, & we were told this would be fixed remotely, but it never got resolved. Months later the lady returned, & I think she replaced both meters again, got a new IHD working, but then your offices did something and ruined everything! The lady was almost in tears & swearing at whoever on the phone, having been here for about 2 hours! The lady took the IHD away & we were told we would be contacted again in 2 months, which was 4 months ago, therefore, we have no IHD at all?

I think the electric is sending readings, but the gas meter stopped.
I have just looked at the lights on white box above meter, & they all were illuminated for about 1 second, & now 3 flash every few seconds. (please see photo).

Ahhh, it looks like there is an issue with your gas meter connection. I used your serial number to find your account and have sent off a connection report. They'll pop me a message back and let me know what we need to do to get this sorted for you! 😍

I have just read what the National 3 peaks challenge is, & OUCH, I can imagine! (I used to do hilly marathons in my younger days, such as Beachy with the seven sisters, & on the flat the Nijmegan 4 day marches! https://www.4daagse.nl/en
