Just had my recent statement, and it works out as £3.50 per day. But when I check my smart meter most nights before I go to bed just before midnight, it's closer to £2.50 most days. Why is there such a difference? I wondered if it was the standing charge, but when I've seen my smart meter just after midnight, there is usually 30p on there already.
Hmm... Two possible thoughts here. Firstly, I'll try to ask @PeterT_EONNext to force re-sync your tariff rates just in case they're not synced up properly.
It is also possible that there's other costs which aren't included with the tariff rates configured on the meter like VAT. It's worth remembering that the IHD itself is only a guide and that your account is the single source of truth.
