Cannot access FIT account online

    Good evening,

I'm trying to access my FiT account, but upon logging in with my FiT ID and post code it advises me to head over to EON next - however on EON next I see no trace of my FiT account.

I am due to give a reading between April 14th of May 5th, so i'd like to do so!

I'm fairly new to all this, we only had our FiT account activated in January and we gave our first reading prior to Feb 4th, to which we received a payment. However i'm completely stumped now... Am i supposed to link it somehow?

    Kindest regards,
    Jason

    Hi @jasonsandford87 ,

I can ask a moderator to try and link the accounts for you. As long as they're both on the same email address you signed up to this forum with it should be fairly easy. @DebF_EONNext got a second?

    Hey @jasonsandford87 πŸ‘‹

Welcome to the community & thanks for taking the time to post. Take a look around if you have any other questions you may find they have already been asked on here. I also recommend you take a quick look at our Getting Started section.

I also have good news for you, I've managed to get that fixed for you & hopefully now you should now be able to see both accounts 😊

Thank you for your help and warm welcome DebF. i've managed to get in and switched over with no issues.

Since logging in it appears i've somehow missed a metre reading window though. All the letters i have, including my annual statement indicated my reading was due between April 14th and May 5th - however on the EON Next website it states the window closed on March 25th. I did not receive any notification that my window had changed dates.

Does this mean I will have financially lost out, or will the due amount be back dated when i submit my june reading. Prior to this my last reading was done early February.

    kindest regards,
    Jason

@jasonsandford87 No don't worry you won't have missed out as we calculate up to your reading 😊 just for future reference here at E.ON Next we have 4 reading windows per year, it always starts on the 1st of the month and ends on the 25th.

    March 1 - March 25
    June 1 - June 25
    September 1 - September 25
    December 1 - December 25

So your next FIT calculation will go from your last reading right up to your next reading in June. As we now have your account sorted you will find that you will get an email when the window opens with information on how to submit your readings etc.

    I hope this helps 😊
