Is there ANY hope of "Smart" Gas meters being "repaired" so that they send meter readings as they're supposed to? MY father is 92, has limited mobility and is now having to reply on others to read his Gas meter and send readings to Eon Next. The meter hasn't been sending reading since before Christmas and it is now the end of March! The more to Eon Next ahs been complete chaos and a singular example of how NOT to treat your customers!
We have been told repeatedly that this will be fixed but nothing has been done.
You need to raise a formal complaint. If the company has had ample time to resolve the issue (which of course is of its own making) then you could complain directly to the regulator. But if you're feeling generous give them one more chance to resolve the matter. And make sue you ask for compensation as well.

I have tried that. I have written to the managing director, posted on Facebook and Twitter. I'll try writing a letter and sending it recorded delivery, but I have no hope that this will ever be fixed!
