@Han_EONNext This is nonsense. I have an issue with my latest bill as the tariff shown does not match the tariff on my account and I believe I have been overcharged. Also the ofgem price guarantee shown is wrong. I have tried to contact you via email twice, tried phoning several times and made a complaint and have still not had a response. Indeed, I have had no acknowledgement of my complaint. I do not use social media or whatsapp. I am an elderly customer and need to speak to a human which you don't seem to have considered. I think your customer service is appalling. I know I will be answered by a chatbot but am desperate to get some answers. Does anyone else have the same problems with eon??.

@Han_EONNext Hi I want to pay the bills at the address i live at instead of the other person living here , we want to change wo is responsible for paying bills. We are having extreme trouble trying to do this and even set up another account holder its practically impossible and take literally days to get through on phone.

Also they have way over estimated the bills and are deducting silly amounts from direct debit. Its verging on being criminal

I am going to suggest a 'workaround' for you.
Take a set of accurate meter readings.
Follow the links on the main E.On Next website in the Help, Moving Home Section.
Whoever is currently paying the bills 'moves out' and submits final meter readings. Whoever you want to pay the bills 'moves in' and submits initial meter readings.
The fact that no one is actually 'moving' is neither here nor there. The accurate meter readings should also correct any estimates or inaccurate billing.
Not an ideal fix, but it should work.
Edited to add, I had to do the same with OVO when I parted company with a previous life. I'd been paying the bills for ten years, but moved out and my former partner needed to take over the bills. Needless to say, they couldn't just change the account name and bank details...they had to close one account and open another. Unfortunately not only did we lose a particularly good deal, but they refunded several thousand pounds of my account balance to her instead. Fortunately, she sent me the money same day.

We have been told that I can be another account holder and be added to the portal If I choose to pay the bills due then this is ok. is this right or must there be a direct debit set up or not.. -

Ideally you would want to set up a direct debit as paying by other methods means you will be charged a slightly more expensive tariff.
