Hi there - new to the forum and to EON.

I joined EON in September 2021 and since then have been struggling to get a Smart Meter installed.

It seems like there WAS a smart meter installed in this property previously, but the meter itself was not handed over to me when I moved in. So no I'm in the situation where whenever I call EON to book a meter installation, they tell me I already have one ... very frustrating. Anyone with advice on this appreciated.

*Note - aside from the above I have also had problems in the online booking system that others have posted the simply links back to the Account page.

Hi @rainey64,

Could you post some photos of your meters please? I'm very skilled at identifying what you've got, but I'm afraid I don't have X-Ray Vision and can't access any systems myself. Once you've posted those, I'll be able to help further.

Have you seen @theunknowntech message above? Pics of the meter would help us to identify whether you have a smart meter or not. I'm jumping to conclusions here but I'm assuming you may have a SMETS1 meter. 🤔
