I switched to a different provider on February 25th.My remaining balance with E.On went into the credit last month but I was once again charged. It seems my smart meter readings are still being recorded and I am still being charged despite switching providers over a month ago.
Please assist me with this, as I do not want to be paying two electricity and gas bills at once.
The situation is quite alarming.
When someone switches supplier who tells the Smart meter to switch supplier?
No one.
It requires 100% joined up liaison between the old and new suppliers to ensure a proper change of supplier.
It will be interesting to see how this is resolved.
