Thank you for your time and help. I will try that when I can. I have friends that are electricians so I’ll get one of them round to take a look. The council spark just changed the RCD’s that melted. I did ask him to check the electrics but he said no need.
My brother had a problem with the council not fulfilling their obligations by failing to fully check and verifying the safety of the electrics in his council flat after water leaked from a leaky roof onto his electrics. To cut a long story short, he used a no win no fee solicitor to ensure that essential safety checks and repairs were done in full, and was paid thousands of pounds in compensation last year!
