Smart Meters and night rate tariffs

    Hi

    We do not have gas. Keep being asked to have a smart meter fitted BUT we have Day and Night rate. Can we now have a smart meter or not? I couldn’t find any information for this situation.

    currently on this tariff -
    Next Online v4
    Fixed term ends 03/2022
    Day rate
    21.54 p/kWh
    Night rate
    10.88 p/kWh
    Standing charge
    20.26 p/day

    I realise this is an old thread however I thought I would post an update as it may help someone else 😊

    We can install smart meters for some economy 7 customers, if you contact our energy specialists they will be able to check your eligibility for you and if eligible can get you booked in to have your smart meter fitted 😊
