    Hello everyone, and welcome to the E.ON Next Customer Community! It's so exciting to have you on board with us!

    A Community is defined as "a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common" In this instance, you're all joined together because we are your supplier, or you're interested in us being your supplier - we'd hope!

    Our Community is designed with the idea of customers, both existing, past, and prospective, to help each other with their general account, supply, and industry queries - to chat about anything and everything, and maybe even make a friend or two along the way!

    Things we’d love to see you post include (but aren’t limited to!)

    • General Queries about E.ON Next - general account & processes, etc.
    • Queries about the industry - Smart Meters, FiT / SEG queries, Distribution & Metering
    • Suggestions for ways we can improve our service & features - Our website, the Community?
    • Your favourite animals, foods, holiday destinations & TV Shows!


    We do have some guidelines on @Hat's post Community Values which we'd love you to read through, so you know what's expected. There's staff members here to keep an eye on things, but if you spot anything untoward please do reach out to one of us and we'll be happy to help!

    Sadly we aren't able to help with account-specific queries, so I'd advise against posting any questions that may require looking directly into your account at this time. But fear not!

    Hi Everybody, just to let you know that every post you make (except private messages and this board), can take 3 days to appear because moderators have to approve them and they need this time to do it, so don't be too surprised; patience is required!
    This causes the pace of dialogue here to be somewhat slow; metaphorically it feels like playing a slow game of chess where one has to wait many days for the opponent to make their move; however it is even more confusing because it's hard to keep track of ones posts when doing multiple posts if the posts are still pending for days.
    Given the small size of the community and the fact that it may not be necessary at the moment, I have a vision for the future when the community expands, if this process could be expedited, it would be more dynamic an experience and thus encourage further participation to expand the community.

    you’re kidding. The admins do nothing. There are loads of bots on here and they seem to get past the post approval very easily.

    it’s hilarious. I’m so glad I left. I just stop by here to have a look at the carnage every so often.

    Actually, you're kidding - I write with sincerity; the admins may take time to approve posts, but they still do it.
    There are loads of bots on here and they seem to get past the post approval very easily.
    The few that slip through the net are duly deleted in due course.

    Your metaphor is not analagous to an accurate description unless you can be more specific in your critisism which happens not to be construcive.

    Again, not accurate, I have replied to many of them. Most of these participants put ***one post only*** and never reply again; rendering them one post moaners. The whole point of this is to discuss things

    There is no forum that fully answers everybody the way you expect it to You ought to be ashamed for your inaccuracies which have a danger of gullible people believing your misleading rhetoric.
