We have E10 and when GMT we normally get cheap rate electricity at 1pm to 4pm, 8pm to 10pm and Midnight to 5am (timings advance 1 hour when BST). However since April all timings have advanced 3 hours so our afternoon cheap rate starts at 4pm to 7pm which go’s into what I would consider peak times. Has anyone else experienced this? EON Next has been made aware but the problem as yet to be resolved.
Have you spoken to an Energy Specialist? What have they advised? There could be a few things that cause an issue like this, such as the timings for the peak/off peak being the wrong way around or a time-switch error. It would be great to hear what you have been told so far 😀
Together we can work to achieve a more sustainable Future 🌥

Hi Connor thanks for the message, no all off peak switching durations are good just all advanced by 3 hours, smart meter displays correct date but time display is + 2 hours out. Yes we have had emails from Gabi ES, the meter team can’t see a problem! I’m know the problem started beginning of April, perhaps the new tariff data corrupted the start time?
Yes but what does it take to get EON Next to reset the time? I’d do it myself but I don’t think that’s possible.
Correct, you'll need to get Customer Services to escalate to the team who can apply the clock reset for you - might take a bit of perseverance or ideally a Nextie on here will help pull the required strings.
We did what you suggested and sent picture of meter with wrong time displayed, their reply is below;
Thank you for your email.
I have checked with our team regarding the issue you reported, and they have confirmed that there is no problem with your meter. It is communicating as it should be, and everything is working fine. Unfortunately, they have not provided any specific information about the peak times, but overall, the meter is functioning correctly.
If you have any further concerns or notice anything unusual, please do let me know, and I’ll be happy to assist.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and think the smart meter programme is a waste of our money. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

Kind regards,
Your energy specialist⚡️
They seem to have addressed the communication/functioning of the meter, but not not the fact that the time is incorrect.
You probably need to chase them again to request a Service Request 6.11 Synchronise Clock
The Comms Hub should maintain the time via the WAN connection, then any devices connected to the hub (Gas; Electric; IHD etc) should get synchronised with this time via the HAN
I hope you're well? I can see you haven't had much luck in getting your issue resolved, have you managed to contact our customer service team back and advised them of the suggested above by @geoffers if they still haven't be able to fix it please pop me a direct message and I can see if I can get this looked into from my end. 😊
