I can only guess they couldn’t get the 30 minute data reliably or you weren’t eligible for some reason, although it would have been nice to have been informed!
Hopefully Customer Services or a Nextie on here can find out the reason and switch back.
@Taega - according to the Drive T&C's there are various things they should attempt if ½ hourly data is missing, then ultimately they should discuss the situation before moving you to the Next Flex SVT
5.9 In the event the Supplier is unable to start communicating with the Customers’ meter again, we will contact you to discuss the options available. If the Supplier is unable to contact the Customer, they will move them to their Standard Variable tariff (Next Flex) and let them know in accordance with the Suppliers’ obligation
Next flex isn’t a fix - it’s their SVR.
Were you on Drive or Drive Smart?

I spoke to customer services and they say my meter is provided 30 minutes reading since 31 may 2 months after I went with eon but don’t understand if they are getting readings why change me onto standard tariff. Hopefully she is going to sort it out soon
I hope you're all well? I can see you've mentioned you've been switched to our standard Next Flex Tariff, and I can see as @geoffers stated the most common reason maybe due to your smart meter not providing the required data for the Next drive tariff. I am glad to hear you've been in touch with our customer service team and hopefully they will be able to investigate this for you.
Please keep us posted with an update and if there is anything else you need feel free to drop me a dm! 😊
