@BaldGringo - section 6.5.2.9 of this manual describes the schedule-time settings you can access through the web-UI

    https://vestel-evchargers.com/eu/pro...R_IG_EN_V2.pdf

I bet these are the values which you would be setting/controlling via the DriveGreen app (or the Eon app if it was working), so maybe you can just ignore using the app and directly set them here 🤔

Thank you for your suggestion. I've located the scheduled charging section in the web interface but I'm on a single unit price for my electricity so can charge anytime and benefit from Eon's Power Up events. My main gripe is with the lack of the Insight section in the old Eon Home app. which allowed me to see how much a charge cost in £ and Kwh plus notified me when charging was complete.
Thank you again for all your help.

    Hi,
Can any of the Eon representatives on this forum give us an update from the Developers as to when or if their app. will support Vestel chargers. I am not on Facebook so cannot ask the Developers directly.
If the app. will never be able to serve Vestel chargers, then Eon should be honest with us and compensate for loss of functionality.

I received the following today from EON Next and must say I'm not at all happy with their service:
    Hello Paul,
Thank you for your message and for sharing the screenshot.
At present, E.ON has not provided an official timeline for when Vestel EV chargers will be fully compatible with the E.ON Next Home app again. The compatibility issues began recently following updates to our app ecosystem, as features transitioned to the new E.ON Next Home app. Support representatives have confirmed that Vestel chargers, such as the EVC04 model, are currently unsupported by both the E.ON Next Home app and the Vestel Drive Green app.
While our developers are actively working to improve and update this integration, no fix date has been committed to yet. Unfortunately, this means you cannot use the E.ON app to schedule charging or view cost insights with your Vestel charger at the moment.
In the meantime, here are some ways you can continue charging your EV:

    • Use your RFID card to start and stop manual charging sessions by tapping it on the front of your Vestel charger.
    • Set charging schedules directly via your vehicle’s built-in infotainment system or your car manufacturer’s app, as the E.ON app scheduling is currently unavailable.
    • If you need to adjust hardware settings like random delay times or LED brightness, you can connect to your Vestel charger locally via Bluetooth following the setup instructions in your charger manual.
    • Some customers have also found success using third-party charging apps (such as Monta) by configuring the charger’s OCPP settings, although this requires some technical setup.
I appreciate this is not ideal, and we understand how important it is to have full app functionality. Please rest assured that we are monitoring the situation closely and will update customers as soon as we have more information.
If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I would strongly recommend those with Vestel chargers to formally complain and request a return to the EON Home app.

Hello all, just been following the above steps to try and connect the charger to Monta however I have no idea what the password is to gain access to the Eon ECV04 Config Interface is… I’ve tried admin and also eon01 but neither work. Does anyone have any other options it could be? Also used admin as the username too but still no luck. This is getting really frustrating and I cannot believe Eon have taken a fully functioning app offline and replaced it with rubbish that does not work and is not compatible with the charger they installed. Almost feel like we’ve been mis-sold this. Thanks in advance!

@mrarg1393 - I don't have this setup, but looking online some Eon's docs suggest this ( though I don't know if this is correct)

    @BaldGringo Hi,

Considering the time it is taking to enable the Eon next home app to be able to use the Vestel charger and the fact that Eon no longer sell the Vestel charger, will the app ever be able to control the Vestel charger?

I had my charger installed in Feb 2025. Used the old eon app before it was withdrawn, using boost charge and it failed to fully charge. Since then I only use the RFID card.
Considering all the problems which have yet to be resolved, have we been miss sold the Vestel charger?
