Anyone successfully connected the Drive Green App. to their Vestel charger.
I cannpt activate Bluetooth with the Master RFID card as it always goes to flashing green, not blue. I've tried rebooting my EVC04 bit the app. still can't find my charger. Any pointers would be appreciated.

@BaldGringo - not sure if this'll help but it appears that the vestel chargers have an "always on" WiFi hotspot.

Google for "vestel evc04 wifi hotspot" gives this info



So it looks like (outside of any app) you can connect your phone directly to this Wi-Fi hotspot, then in a browser type 192.168.1.1 (or see alternative below) which should bring up the charger's own internal web interface (if you had the charger installed by Eon the username may be admin and pw = eon01 according to their online instructions)

There may be some configuration settings here which may help in getting your connection set up - for instance you should be able to enter your home router's WiFi SSID name and its password so it can join your home network, which might then make it visible from the Drive Green app 🤞

BTW: Normally when devices provide a temporary Bluetooth connection this is purely for the initial setup to enable you to enter your WiFi SSID and password for this permanent Wi-Fi connection

NB There's another online instruction PDF from Eon which suggests different Web-ui IP address and Logon details

@geoffers Many thanks for the guides. My Vestel is already connected to my home Wifi but the Drive Green app. requires bluetooth for initial setup. I'll take a look in the Vestel web interface to see if bluetooth has been disabled.
As the Eon Next Home app. currently cannpt connect to Vestel chargers and the recommendation here is to use the Drive Green Next app. I thought others might have tried using it. Thank you again for your advice.

@BaldGringo -cool hope it works 🤞: If it's already connected to your home WiFi you should be able to go straight to the UI's IP address in a browser, but from Googling there seem to be 192.168.1.1 or .35.1 as possibilities, and maybe different login passwords too 🤔 Good luck... 👍

@geoffers @BaldGringo 192.168.1.1 is used by many manufacturers for their default router address. You could always go on to your router's UI and look through the list of attached devices.

@WizzyWigg - that .1.1 IP is used when you're directly linked to the vestel charger's hotspot (not connected via your router/WiFi hence no conflict)

The .1.35 IP address may be the default (or just the value it's been assigned by DHCP) when accessing via your home network router/WiFi

So if it's set as the default you'd need to make sure no other devices are already connected using that IP, then once connected change the Vestel's default IP via its configuration page to another unique address you're happy to use (and make sure that's set to a fixed IP)

... or if it's already connected then look up its IP in the router list and use that

i haven’t used the drive green app but I am very frustrated that the new Eon next home app that was changed in May,does not allow my car and Vestel charger to be added!! I had no problem before this updated app.Eon installed the charger so why aren’t they allowing it anymore? Outrageous. Luckily I am able to charge using the rfid card and setting my car timer to my fixed drive rate between 12-6am. I plug in the charger early evening and use the rfid card straight away and it flashes green but doesn’t begin until 12 am & ends at 6am.But I can’t view any of the previous info regarding the price of my charges each time or activity.I liked to keep a note of my monthly usage but can’t anymore!
Eon staff don’t seem to know what’s happening either such bad training and customer service.

Thank you all for yoir comments and suggestions. I've tried connecting to my EVC04 using the web interface (192.168.0.35) on my router but it cannot be reached. I know that I've connected in the past as I dimmed the blue flashing charging light which was annoying after dark. The Eon Drive app. can still see my charger bit that doesn't give the benefits of the old Eon Home app.
I guess that no one reading the forum has successfully connected the Drive Green app. so it looks like we're stuck waiting for the Developers to sort their new app. or even better, restore the original that actually worked.

@BaldGringo - have you gone into your router settings to check whether it's actually still connecting as .0.35

There's a chance that DHCP on the router may have it set as dynamic assignment rather than static, so it could have been assigned a different IP on reconnection 🤔

My error, I was trying to access the wrong IP address. I've cross referenced the Vestel's Mac address in my router and got 192.168.0.12. This allowed me to access the web interface but there's no mention of Bluetooth.
