Next Optimise Assumptions
-
I have 6kw system (which has an expected maximum of about 4.9kw) and a 9.5kwh battery. My export last year was 2500kwh and import 1200kwh with total usage of 4000kwh. The next optimise quote comes out at net cost just under £450 per year. On a fixed tariff the cost is about £490 but with export income of about £325 i.e net cost £165. This would suggest that either optimise is not suitable for me or the assumptions are wrong. Is there anyway to get clarification on this?
Thanks -

Also bearing in mind that a drive like tariff could bring that import cost down to less than £300, making it even less appealing.

@david1998 Thanks for posting David
As Next Optimise is in its infancy it would be hard to know if the assumptions are wrong.
The more we travel the journey the easier and more improved this will become.
But....
My anticipation is we get some real stories on here of people using the tariff, giving key details of system sizes and saving made.
I don't have an instant answer other than my real hope is the community drives this and we see more posts around people using and informing others.
