OK, We are starting on the pathway to make our energy bills less, BUT, this is proving difficult to plan with Eon
1. Buy an Eon EV charger, they can only discuss Chargers, not tariffs, Not batteries, not solar
2. Buy Eon solar, they can only discuss solar, Not EV, Not tariffs, not batteries
3. Buy batteries, they can only discuss batteries, Not EV, Not tariffs, Not solar.
Its increasingly difficulty to get a combined approach to energy when each department will not advise how their tech works in relation to the other departments in Eon.
So, here's our modular plan
1. Buy EV Car - done
2. Buy EV Charger - done, but Eon have delayed us now for nearly two weeks, but its coming Tuesday.
3. Purchase storage battery.
4. Purchase Solar.
In the above order.
Now, my question is this, there seems to be no one in Eon prepared to give a complete architecture view of our plan. We have ordered an OHME Pro charger.
We want to do the following
1. Change tariff over to an EV one, so we can initially charge both the car and use our larger appliances between midnight and 6am.
2. Install a battery, then charge this and the car and use the larger appliances, then during the day use the battery up first to power the house, then use the mains
3. Install Solar, so we can charge both the car and battery during the day then use the battery to discharge at night then the mains when it empties.
Does anyone know an Eon department I can talk to to ensure the technology I want to install works together with later additions, can we power both the house and car during midnight and 6am on a reduced tariff?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
