@
bikeman The issue is that the gas meter readings are time displaced by one hour. This relates to clock change at the end of October. I first encountered this problem in 2022 / 2023 and it took months of arguing with Eon before they acknowledged that there was a problem. The customer service people kept telling me that there was nothing wrong and that the IHD was faulty. It reached the point where they refused to discuss the matter further unless I bought a new IHD.
I eventually bought an iVie Bud and, lo and behold, it displayed exactly the same incorrect data as the original unit. At that point Eon did some further investigation work, sent some 'commands' to the meter and everything was fine. (I did refer the matter to the Ombudsman and I did 'win' but only on the basis that Eon did not follow the complaints procedure correctly. The Ombudsman would not get involved in the performance of the IHD.)
Roll on on a couple of years and I've had the same issue once again. I have had seemingly endless WhatsApp chats with Eon and again been told that there is nothing that they could do. Not one to give up, I persisted and eventually they corrected the problem.
I suspect that this is an industry-wide issue and that the energy companies, certainly Eon, rely on people accepting that the matter cannot be corrected.
If the daily readings are important to you, don't give up with Eon! You can refer them to the thread on which I have discussed this with @
