I recommend it to all. What I took away was lots of things are possible to reduce bills (running costs) if you invest (capital cost) in energy efficient upgrades. But none were evaluated individually as to whether they represented value for money. A house renovated to Passivhaus standards had spent £100,000 spent on it to deliver 90% energy saving, and it took many months to do it.
But the homeowner would be financially better off putting that money on deposit and using the interest to pay the energy bill and still have cash left over. My view is that we should implement the measures that deliver the quickest return on money invested. Others will think that the climate crises demands extreme measures.
Another thing is misleading statistics - listen to what is said right at the beginning. My bills for utilities (gas , electricity and Water) totalled £974 in 2005, £1,103 in 2015 and £1,574 in 2025. While prices have undoubtedly increased (particularly a few years back, peaking and then falling), looking at it long term I think incomes generally have increased faster.
