Subnational Electricity and Gas Consumption Statistics

    The title disguises a really interesting recent report from DESNZ on how domestic consumption has changed, illustrates that different regions have varying levels of consumption and how energy use is particular to each household.

    Many of us would think we're fairly average in the way we live and consume energy but the data in this report demonstrates that the spectrum is in fact very wide indeed. There are some interesting snippets in the charts - like 7% of Domestic properties not being connected to the Gas grid in the North East, while in the South West its 24%

    @meldrewreborn Definitely some great information there, thank you for sharing 😁 - really makes you think about your personal consumption. The huge variation of how much consumption there is from region to region is an interesting one
