Have you had any communication from customer services at all? Have you contacted them to ask what the entries are and why?
I only would expect to see multiple entries when someone is fixing the billing or re-winding charges, has there been anything like that at all?
Thanks

Not personally but these things usually happen when estimated charges are replaced with revised actuals driven by new readings. Because the variable rate changes every three months, revised readings can require revisions to bills going back multiple quarters.
can you advise us if that is the cause?

@meldrewreborn - Hmm - it's a bit misleading, since the Ofgem rules say
You cannot be charged for energy used more than 12 months ago if:
you have not had an accurate bill for it before, even though you asked for one
you have not been informed about any charges due via a statement of account before
So the first statement reads to me that if you've had a bill, but the bill was inaccurate you shouldn't be charged prior to 12 mths, but they then go on to say "if you asked for one" which may cancel that if you didn't ask
Maybe a lawyer would argue that statement should read "if you haven't had a bill at all but asked for one"
Or maybe an estimated bill could be classed as not having had an accurate bill...?🤔
you have not had an accurate bill for it before, even though you asked for one
That to me reads that if you haven't asked for an accurate bill, you cannot use that criteria. The second criteria
you have not been informed about any charges due via a statement of account before
means that estimated bills are telling you that you are liable for energy used in the appropriate periods, so you can't claim complete lack of knowledge.
But its much simpler if you've not had any communication at all.
I can see our members have really supported you on this one, and I was just wondering if you were able to look into the charges that were added?
Did you manage to contact our customer service team, for an explanation on the charges?
