Existing E.ON customer - lost historic data

We are (were) an existing E.ON customer for many years, and were switched over to E.ON Next during October 2021.

Since the switch, we no longer have any of our prior E.ON billing or consumption records available. Is there any possibility of re-obtaining access to those?

    Thanks,
    David

Hmm... That might be possible, but it depends on whether the historical data is still in the archives. You probably won't be able to access your old account directly anymore, but customer service might be able to rummage through the vault and send you a copy if you contact them. Be prepared for a pretty big email or letter though!

    Hey @DaveE,

Thanks for posting on the community it's lovely to have you here 😊 I'm sorry to read that you haven't had your historical bills. It can sometimes take a while following migration for all of the information to be transferred over, however you should be able to see all of your historical bills on your online account. When you log in if you head to view bills and payments, click on the bills tab and you can view/download all of your bills from there.

I'm in a similar situation. I've been told by E.On that my payments need nearly treble to cover money I owe them. When I look at my payment history, I can't go back past the point where I transferred over. They were happy to take the same amount of me for the past 8 months! When I look at the point I transferred over, I apparently owed over £1000 to E.On so why wasn't anything done then? I really need to find out what was happening before the transfer. Any advice on who to get in touch with - Thanks - Dave
