As title says, got up today January 1st, the first thing I checked was my smart meter, Daily usage 32p, weekly usage £4.45, monthly usage 32p yearly usage £19.47.
So it started off the year at £19.15, not sure if this will impact my bills but I do find it odd.
I can only take a guess here as it's impossible for me to know for sure, but perhaps the meter was still resetting the balances? Your actual billing won't be affected as it's not based on what the meter says, so you won't be overcharged in this scenario. I can't remember if SMETS Commands can forcibly fix this as the closest thing I can think of would be Update Meter Balance. But that's probably just going to get even more confusing for you if it's done halfway through the month.
Keep an eye on it for a few days, just in case.
