Or switched off, as the case may be. I just realised that my energy bill can be lowered a little tiny bit more because my stereo consumes 14W a day running the vacuum display clock and saving the radio presets, and the unused Sky box in the front room uses 6Wh in standby. Every Wh helps...

Was just about to post the same myself, the government will want every to use less energy so it costs them less for the price guarantee.
