I'm sure I am not alone in having to massively raise the budget I originally set on my IHD3 SMETS2 display over a year ago when new.
It used to be occasionally in the red, but now its most of the day - unsurprisingly.
What's annoying me now is that since yesterday it's now giving me a rolling reminder of being over budget with a message to this effect, that I can really do without!
But there's no means to change the budget. Pressing 'Menu' does nothing - it only worked on first setting up.
There's no re-set button, and no info on this anywhere, in the user manual or online.
Can anybody help, please?

Afraid User Guides are not of any help - already have booklet, no info as to adjusting Budget. It states
" Setting budgets on your IHD. To help you manage your energy use, you can set a target:Bring up the menu screen by tapping OK. Select Adjust Settings and then select Set budget by tapping OK."

As I said at outset, this only works for initial setup. Pressing OK button only indicates "Account Information" then "Bill so far this period" alternately, so for all who want to change their budgets (2 million in UK if they all have this model) they will be unlucky.

Have already worked out what my new tariff is from the IHD display info. Why E.on states it could take a few weeks baffles me as they already know, and those with so-called Smart Meters should be able to work it out if their "How much used today...." has, like mine, rocketed up by almost 50% since 1st April.

Unfortunately these meters aren't smart enough (or E.on isn't, since it's their software controlling mine) to allow adjusting something as important as a daily Budget, which is their main purpose - to keep us focussed (now, more than ever) on how much energy we are using and where it can be saved.

Am pleased to say that at least the annoying IHD reminders of being over budget have stopped, and hope that the pictures I earlier submitted of my display unit will help get this glitch sorted.
