Frayed supply cables eh? You might need to talk to UKPN first as they probably own that element. Let me see if Beki_EONNext can help with this as it might not be possible for you to make that request...

That is the policy as I understand it Johns . You always get your first IHD for free regardless of supplier, usually when the smart meters are initially installed. Likewise, you'll also get one for...

    Hiya!

Could you show me some photos please Julz13 ? I can try to diagnose the issue with you, but I'll need to know what you've got first.

    Hi Lyndseyhodgkin ,

There might be a way, but I could do with seeing photos of your meters please. It helps me figure out your options.

    Hi VaultBoy ,

I'm not sure if I've seen you on this forum before. Did you previously ask anyone here to send the update through? Either way, I'm happy to ask PeterT_EONNext to take a look. :)

To be honest, it looks like your meter is also due for replacement as it's nearly 30 years old. You might want to think about getting a smart meter upgrade soon.

Yup, the SMETS Command Update Tariff Configuration targets the meters rather than the IHD. All connected IHDs then pull down the tariff data from the meter at the next heartbeat after the update.

There's a slight lag on the readings sent to your account. It's taken at somewhere between midnight and 6am. If you're checking late in the day, that won't be reflected yet.
