    It's not a problem with the smart meters, another provider are now pulling readings down every 30 minutes and doing real-time billing basically after I switched away from e.on next.

    Holy cow, they read the smart meter every half hour, and graph it for me, basically real-time billing.

    ​​​​​​​Am glad to have switched.
